With a stiff wind blowing in, it was tough for either team to get offense going. The Rebels, who coming into the game had stolen 60 bases in 62 attempts, were off and running in the first as a Walker Winkelman steal of 2nd led to Carson Lemerande coming around to score to put the Rebels up 1-0 in the first. Winkelman had a great outing, but struggled in the 2nd, walking four which put Oconto up 4-1. After Winkelman reached 100 pitches, the defense went down hill as Oconto would plate eight runs in the 6th to give the Blue Devils a 12-2 win. The Rebels battled for five innings once again, but for the 2nd straight game struggled in the sixth vs a very quality team.
